Mary brings more than three decades of strategic and organisational development expertise. She has spent the majority of her career leading change to deliver strategic intent – as a management team member, consultant and business psychologist. Cross-border business experience has helped Mary to develop a pragmatic, but culturally sensitive approach to client assignments.
After ten years in corporate roles in Japanese, Swiss and British shipping organisations, Mary transitioned to management consulting with AON. Later she was a management team member of a niche consultancy specialising in customer-centricity. Mary has been assessing executives for development purposes for more than a decade and is a certified coach, working on one to one and group basis, often as an integral part of leadership programmes to reinforce the learning and apply it back at work.

Recently, Mary completed research on female leaders in blockchain. She is a Research Fellow with London Business School’s Leadership Institute collaborating on a FTSE350 board level effectiveness study. In parallel, she is also involved in research focusing on leadership through crisis with INSEAD colleagues.
She is an American/British chocoholic, balancing this vice with yoga, countryside walks and a spot of surfing. The next chapter in her nomadic existence involves sailing around the world with her husband, once their younger son turns 18 (or thereabouts).
